The Kingdom of Tonga formalised the establishment of her diplomatic relations with the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal in the presence of their respective Permanent Representatives to the United Nations, Ambassador Tone of Tonga and Ambassador Thapa of Nepal on 1 March 2024.
