Paris – November 2023. His Majesty’s Hon Consul General of the Kingdom of Tonga to Portugal held a wonderful to meet with the First Lady of the Republic of Korea here in Paris, France. Her Excellency Kim Keon-hee is the First Lady of South Korea as the wife of the 13th President of Republic of Korea, His Excellency Yoon Suk-yeol.
The presidential couple had just concluded the day before a State Visit to Britain. The First Lady commented to me how much she enjoyed the visit to London and said that the British king and queen had been perfect hosts.
President Yoon is in Paris for meetings with his French counterpart to drum up support for South Korea’s candidacy for the 2030 World.
