Tonga and Libya mark 45 years of diplomatic relations during visit of Tongan Hon Consul General in Lisbon.
His Majesty’s Hon Consul General of the Kingdom of Tonga to Portugal, Mr Anthony Bailey, paid a visit to the Embassy of the State of Libya in Portugal and met with Marwan Altayef, Minister Plenipotentiary and Consul General.
The Kingdom of Tonga and Libya established diplomatic relations 45 years ago in March 1978. Mr Bailey visited Libya in December 2023.
