New York – September 2023. The Hon Consul General of Tonga in Portugal, Mr Anthony Bailey met with the Hon Consul of Tonga accredited in the Republic of Cyprus, Joseph Borghese in New York.
Both diplomats discussed projects aimed at furthering and enhancing Tongan ties and presence within the member states of the European Union.
Mr Borghese and Mr Bailey were earlier received by the Tongan prime minister, the Hon Hu’akavameiliku, Siaosi ‘Ofakivahafolau Sovaleni, on the margins of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly which took place at the same time.
